Kids Drums
Kids Drums are classroom-ready djembes, bongos, ocean and thunder drums for school ensembles. Sizes run 3″–12″ diameters and 12–60cm heights, with packs of 5 or 6 and a Frame Drum set of 7, plus rope-tuned wood, pre-tuned synthetic and lightweight bamboo for Early Years, Primary, Secondary and SEND.
Kids Drums power classroom ensembles with mini djembes, bongos, ocean drums and thunder drums. Start with Djembe Drum 4.5″ diameter, 20cm high, Educator Star, wood for first beats. Move to Djembe Drum 10″ diameter, 40cm high, Pro Wide Top, wood for confident two-handed playing. World Slap synthetic – rope-tuned models show hand guides for bass, tone and slap. Add Dundun Drum 11″ diameter, 30cm high, bamboo for extra colour and contrast.
Use patterns from African djembe drumming to teach pulse and dynamics. In Early Years and Primary, rotate parts and support early year drums with simple visuals. For Secondary and SEND, scaffold ensemble roles and layer textures. A djembe drum needs dry storage and light skin wiping after use. Keep shells away from heat or damp. Bag small packs for quick changeovers between rooms.
