Brazilian Samba

Brazilian Samba is our inclusive, school-ready programme of class sets, instruments and resources for parades, lessons and clubs across KS2–5. Choose 14in, 16in and 18in surdos with 12in repiniques and 12in caixas; packs for 10–30 players; aluminium shells with nylon or Napa heads; nesting surdos and slings for compact, portable storage.

Brazilian Samba supports inclusive, ready-to-teach ensembles for classrooms, clubs and parades. Kits pair lightweight aluminium shells with nylon or Napa heads, plus galvanised hoops and secure hook tuners for reliable tuning. Core voices include nesting surdos, repinique and caixa, with ABS tamborims, pandeiros and an apito for clear cues. Fit slings before sessions and use storage carry bags to protect shells and speed changeovers.

Early Years thrive with shakers and simple frame parts. Primary pupils layer ostinatos and learn basic breaks. Secondary groups develop call-and-response and sectional leadership. SEND learners benefit from graded parts, tactile timbres and steady pulse tasks. Brazilian Samba Sets align with free KS2/KS3 schemes, CPD videos and audio tracks, so any teacher can build confident ensembles fast. Add Samba Drums gradually to expand texture and keep motivation high.
