Woodlands_Park_Primary_School – Video

Pupils from Woodlands Park Primary School play “Luncaran Lumbung Desa — a traditiional piece notated in Andy Geadhill’s Indonesian Gamelan Guide – at the Music for Youth Festival 2011. The instruments are from the Drums for Schools 30 Player Standard gamelan pack. The judges commented: “A really committed performance with real excitement”; “Very exciting and confident”; “Seemed to be an absolutely perfect performance.”; “Very strong gong and drum interaction created strong drive and direction.”
