Similar but bigger flutes often form part of the Indonesian Gamelan orchestra. This one is just 25cm (10 inches) long and costs next to nothing. The ‘Gamelan Suling Flute Bamboo’ comes in four sizes – 50cm, 35cm, 25cm, and 18cm – of which this is the third largest.
