Below to the left you can play the audio tracks that accompany Andy Gleadhill’s Percussion Buddies Book and you can also download them in the “Documentation” section further down below – just click on the section name to show the content. The recordings are of all the audio tracks in the book. We recommend that you listen to the tunes either through headphones or good quality speakers as laptop and small loudspeakers will struggle to reproduce the lower frequencies and may sound rather “tinny”.
The Percussion Buddies Book, written by educator and professional percussionist Andy Gleadhill, shows teachers how to enable every pupil to participate fully and meaningfully throughout each class instrumental lesson, even if there aren’t enough main instruments to go round. The Percussion Buddies approach makes music budgets go twice as far.
Copies of all of the associated audio tracks are listed below in the audio section. You can download the complete set as a .zip file in the Documentation section.

The audio tracks fully support the Percussion Buddies Book from start to finish. Tracks 2-8 give examples of simple warm-up techniques from the start of the book. Tracks 9-18 give support with the simple exercises and games that you can play to get students into the swing of things.
The remaining tracks 19-54 are split into groups of six, each corresponding to a final rhythm track that is found at the end of the book. The first of each six showcases the complete patterns combined, and the remaining 5 in each group detail the rhythm of the individual percussion buddy instruments involved.
The audio files can be downloaded here for free.
The .zip file contains all fifty-four audio files.
Having all of the audio tracks to hand is a useful off-line resource at your disposal, as you can bring up and play any of the support tracks during your lesson without the need to search for this audio support page. You can embed them into your own presentations and lesson resources, or keep them in a folder for easy reference.
