Buzzer - Small - 35cm, bamboo

'Bamboo Buzzer Small 35cm' - this is the smallest and highest sounding of the three bamboo Buzzers, each beautifully decorated and each one producing a different tone - but not like anything you will have heard before!

The bamboo tubes are deliberately split most of the way down and the characteristic sound is produced by the vibration of the two sides of the Buzzer, which pass the vibration to the air in the bamboo tube. Large and medium sizes of the bamboo buzzers, as well as a ‘Set of 3’ option, are also available.

These buzzers can help with all aspects of EY development, including:

Sensory and/or physical needs

- Tapping the end of the tube produces a playful 'Boing' sound.
- Challenge muscular extension, range of motion, hand-eye coordination and gross and fine motor skills by extending the range and distance of the accompanying rubber strike pad.

Social, emotional and mental health

'Silly sounds' help everyone to feel they can do it [make music sounds] and they don't have to be an expert to play it. Good for confidence, ice-breaker, conversation point.

Communication and interaction
Great for 'conversations', call and response games, rhythm 'punctuation and emphasis', or for simply being silly and having fun.

Cognition and learning

These instruments can be excellent for adding further dimensions in understanding what can constitute music. They help to reinforce the value of 'sound play' - exploring sound contexts and awareness outside of the norm and expected, developing curiosity and a desire to play.
