Our Philosophy on Privacy (Spoiler: It’s Simple)
Welcome to the privacy policy for the Djembe Buyers Guide Worksheet. You’re likely here because Google requires every “app,” even a tiny script that just shows a pop-up, to have one. So, here it is.
Our philosophy is straightforward: this script is designed to do a simple job and nothing else. It doesn’t want your data, it doesn’t need your data, and it has absolutely no idea what to do with your data.
Therefore, this privacy policy can be summarised in one sentence:
The Djembe Buyers Guide Worksheet does not collect, store, share, or process any personal data whatsoever.
For the sake of ticking all the boxes for Google’s review process, here are the details in the format they expect.
1. Who We Are
The “app” or “script” known as Djembe Buyers Guide Worksheet is operated by Drums For Schools. For the purposes of the GDPR and UK Data Protection Act 2018, we are the “Data Controller,” though we don’t control any of your data because we never collect it.

To be abundantly clear, we do not collect, log, or have access to:
- Your name, email address, or Google account information.
- Your IP address.
- Your documents, spreadsheets, or any content within your Google Drive.
- Any information about how you use this script (analytics, usage data, etc.).
- Any personal or sensitive information.
The script runs entirely within your own Google account, on Google’s servers. It performs its function and then it’s done.
3. How We Don’t Use Your Information
Since we collect no information, we don’t use it for anything. This means we do not:
- Sell your data (we have none to sell).
- Share your data with third parties (we have none to share).
- Use your data for advertising or marketing.
- Profile you in any way.
4. Data Storage, Security, and Retention (of Nothing)
Your data (which, again, does not exist) is perfectly secure because it is never collected, stored, or transmitted to us. The retention period for data we don’t have is, thankfully, zero.
5. Your Rights Under GDPR and UK Data Protection Law
You have many rights regarding your personal data under the GDPR and UK law, such as the right to access, rectification, erasure, and portability.
While these rights are critically important, they are not practically applicable in this case because we hold no data about you. You cannot request a copy of data that doesn’t exist, nor can you ask us to delete it. However, we believe in transparency and want you to be aware of your rights in general.
6. Third-Party Services (Google)
This script operates within the Google Workspace environment (Google Docs, Sheets, etc.). Your use of Google’s services is subject to Google’s Privacy Policy. Our script does not grant Google any additional access to your data beyond what is standard for using Google’s own platform.
7. Changes to This Privacy Policy
Should this script ever change in a way that requires collecting data (which is extremely unlikely), we will update this policy. But let’s be honest, it probably won’t happen.
