Jaw Harp - bamboo

[OW-jahaba]
Description

This is a bamboo version of the folk instrument ‘Jaw Harp’. This has been around in Polynesia for a very long time. It is played by gently holding it between your upper and lower jaw and tweaking it for an amazing sound.

Changing the volume of the mouth cavity and altering the breath can produce wonderful changes in tone.
